Worlds First BMX Triple Back Flip

World's First BMX Triple Backflip - Watch more Funny Videos

This Triple Back Flip is sweeet!!! Especially because it starts out with the POV.
Jed Mildon, a 24-year-old BMXer from New Zealand pulls it off at a  free-to-the-public Unit T3 Mindtricks BMX Jam.

ESPN writes
"The set-up includes a huge 18 meter roll-in cut into an embankment in a public recreational park, and an FMX-inspired super-kicker to a "Mega Mega Box" set-up. The kicker has been dug into the face of a hill to create a 43ft step-up to the Mega-Mega Box. And after spending the past three days practising on location into an airbag, Jed and his mates are feeling confident that they'll be able to create history.

RED BULL CUBED PIPE WITH SIMON DUMONT

Red Bulls Cupe Pipe.
What happens when you take a perfectly good Olympic sized-halfpipe and cut half of it out? The answer is the Red Bull Cubed Pipe. Conceived by Simon Dumont, professional skier and world record holder for highest air on a quarterpipe, the idea was given wings this week after years of planning. What began as a 22-foot tall, 550-foot long halfpipe turned into a series of take-off and landing areas with nothing else in between, lowering the margin of error for Dumont's world famous big airs and tricks to zero. Built by Snow Park Technologies, the "Cubed Pipe" features 10 individual cubes and took over 720 hours to construct.

Pinkbike crew

in the limelight on pinkbike.com

Back when I use to work at a second-hand sports consignment shop, a collegue of mine told me my bike was scrapped together with out giving it a second look. That guy was Nick Simcik. Now that my bike has completely fallen apart and I am checking out some of these videos, I guess I can begin to believe him even though its probably to late. Nick Simicik is gaining momentum fast in the biking world and making people happy along the way. When he's not riding for show, Nick volunteers at local bmx courses to promote riding, giving kids a healthy outlet.

Launch time

As the inaugural posting of this blog, I thought it was only right to post the Go-pro HD highlight reel from 2010. This video is pretty sweet and includes adrenaline junkies and cheap thrills from across the map, dipping into various extreme sports. Go-Pros are revolutionizing how we experience the world. It seem like every time I do something extreme, there is someone behind me shoving a camera in my face that's either strapped to their head or a 10ft pole.
